Buyers and sellers paddle dugout canoes or drive small boats to markets in the middle of the lake.People, canoes and boats are in constant motion. Sales happen as canoes and boats glide past each other. Canoes and boats touch while buyers or sellers hold on to each other's boats only long enough to make a sale."
