In the artist's own words: “'Noce', little 'nut' because of her small completion, came as a refugee from Albania. For Carnival in Italy, some cities get really messy! She looks like a Pierrot. I worked in an orphanage in Italy (1997-98) and started a photoshop with the kids, taking pictures, process them and build up photo albums of their childhood in the institution."
