In the artist's own words: “Angkor Wat is the tourist attraction of Cambodia, and the temple was full of groups from around the world. But when I saw the two men resting on the ledge, the window overlooking the country, it seemed to calm down the bustle from the tourists and give a cool air despite the hot weather."
